We are a grains and sheep farm situated about one and a half hours from the city - so great for weekenders. We offer a quiet hide-away camping location by our river (dry in summer). Winter campers have access to a large open fire, septic toilet and as much space as they need to walk, think, sleep. Animals are welcome but must be kept on a lead.

I went along with my friends and we had a really good time there, all of us loved the welcoming from Cathie and Joe, who were warm and kind with us. They provided us with all the things we were lacked of, also we got enough water and the toilet was clean. We had really good fun there.

Trapwell Farm was a great spot for a weekend getaway , only 1.5hrs from Perth. Hosts Joe & Cathie suprised us with home made morning tea. Summertime the river is dry & double g's are yuk but going back in winter to camp &kayak when the river is running. Great riverside camping with shade ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Had one night at Trapwell Farm and really enjoyed the peacefulness and tranquility. Cathie was great and the perfect hostess. The flushing toilet an extra bonus for the wife. Will definitely stay at Trapwell Farm again.

A great campsite with lots of privacy. Joe and Cathie made us feel welcome and comfortable and it was interesting to get to know more from them about the district and local issues. A good base for exploring the Jennacubbine, Goomalling, Northam and Toodyay areas. We’ll return in spring!

Lovely spots along the river (stream at the moment) to relax and enjoy. Fun exploring for kids, dogs and adults alike. Made an even nicer weekend by the warm and relaxed hosts.

I would like to say that this place was awful so that no one else goes and it stays our little secret, but gee what a lovely spot! Cathie was amazing, put us in the perfect spot and we just had a ball. A lovely property, doggies and we loved it! We will be back, thanks again Cathie, Joe and Charlie!

Nice quiet place under the stars. Nice frendly host's who met us and guided us in to the campsite. Great conmunication by txt so your arrival is smooth.. You need to remember to bring your firewood. They also have a flushing toilet if you need one. We will return in the future.

We loved our time here. We came in July when everything was lovely and green. The nights were cold and we could sit around the camp fire. The kids were kept busy exploring and playing. We will definitely be coming back again, it is so close to Perth.
