This property has been a dream of mine. I enjoy welcoming people and instigated the first ever Camp Oven Cooking Bash as a part of Upper Murray Tourism. Budding musicians welcome here. I have a passion for poetry and I've been a member of the Australian Bush Poetry Association for over 20 years. Chances are you'll here a poem or two while you are here! 95% of my buildings are from recycled materials. I have a current working with children's check.

Mauries's property is the culmination of 10 years of hard work to offer exceptional facilities and manicured grounds amongst the backdrop of the high country. The views are stunning and with limited sites on available offer lots of space, peace and tranquility

Maurie has created the perfect base for camping with children. The camp kitchen and toilets/showers make things so easy whilst still being outdoors. Our host was so friendly, helpful, and had plenty of great tips about things to see and do - and the poetry around the campfire at night was lovely.

We found the Poet's Paradise on our way to ConFest and after one night rest we decided to stay instead of driving on to the festival. That was a wise decision as this friendly and peaceful campsite lets you relax and revive in no time. The highlight was definitely the poetry and music night & views.

We absolutely loved our weekend at Poet's Paradise! The camp grounds are fantastic and we were treated to a variety show with a bush band and Maurie's famous poetry. The sunrise and sunset views at this little piece of paradise are PHENOMENAL!!! Just go and enjoy!

We stayed here for 4 nights and had such a wonderful stay. It is a fabulous location and service is excellent. Maurie is a superb host and we also learned quite a lot about the history of the place from him. Bush poetry night under stars was a memorable experience. We will certainly be back.
