Amalua Farm is a 3 spaces 10 hectares land, run by Marcus, his wife, their children, an French assistant manager and a worker. There is the private family house and garden, the farm and the campground. There are 18 sites, all equipped with electricity, water, and a great sunset view! We produce free range eggs that we sell to cafes and use at our breakfast stall at The Gap Farmers Market every Sunday in Brisbane. There is hot showers and a toilet block.

Lovely place to stay with children, very friendly family running the farm. Campsites are spacious and away from the farmers house. Recommend the eggs! Only downsides was there is no shade at the camp sites, but Marcus did bring his Gazebo down for us to use :) also there was a lot of cow poo.

Lovely sunsets and host. Very peaceful and only an hour from Brisbane. Spacious campsites so you don't feel overcrowded even over the Easter weekend!

The animals are great for the kids especially the young goats and being invited to help pack some eggs into cartons. The host are very welcoming and friendly and care about your experience. Toilet & shower were clean and tidy. Only criticism is that the entrance was hard to find initially.

Large wide open space for camping with power and water, great sunsets and sunrises. the amenities are very clean with lights for that midnight trip. The hosts are amazing and extremely helpful. My first time camping with my 2 young girls and they very much enjoyed it and asked when we can go back

Marcus and his children were wonderful hosts. The facilities were clean and our children loved the variety of animals there especially Brandy the dog! We loved having a fire and watching the sun go down. Beautiful spot - we would go back again.

We loved the child friendly atmosphere and the openness of the farm. Hogo is full of enthusiasm and has some amazing plans for the coming years. Looking forward to our next stay.

Lovely spot, the personal garden is a great idea. Pet friendly a plus.A bit crowded 18spots on 3 acres. The facilities are great, hot water and flushing toilets. Would like to know how far we could explore on the property, no signage or maps. Could have been mowed a bit more.

We had an amazing weekend staying at Heartland. Hugo was very welcoming and the site was lovely. This might just become our favourite camping spot!

We had a pleasant stay with a lovely outlook and friendly host but there are a few things that would improve the stay. The hot water was hit and miss, leaky taps at campsite, campsite could have done with a slasher. It is a treat to be able to stay on a farm with power and water site though!

Hugo has just taken over as Manager of the property and re-opened the camping area. The Easter long w/end was the first time it had been at full capacity and there were some teething problems with facilities but Hugo now knows what needs attention. Very relaxing, peaceful with lots of space.
