Description

Hazelnut Valley is a working Hazelnut Farm located along the Tyres River. We are an easy 2 hour drive from CBD Melbourne so we are a great location for either short or long stays.
- Pet friendly (please see rules)
- Campfires permitted in designated areas when restrictions aren't in place
- Campers to be self-contained and bring their own camping toilet.

Fire pit will be provided free for the duration of your stay to each camp group.

Hazelnut Farm Tour including product sampling = FREE (flexible times, pop past the house to book it in)

March is Harvest Time for our Hazelnut Groves, if you book a stay during this time there will be alot of activities and sounds between 10am & 6pm each day.

Located near the front Hazelnut Grove, direct access to the river is a step down to the river rather then a walk in. Our sites are set up so that groups can book the area seperate from other groups on the property. If you need a site booking created for individual families to book their time with us, please let us know and we will create the site on request. Located between two chestnut trees that are over 100 years old, this spot is secluded and offers direct access to the river. This site is exclusive and you will have no neighbouring campers. - Clean up after yourself, all rubbish goes home with you
- Be kind to the animals
- BYO toilet (no holes in the ground type toilets)
- We are pet friendly but any visiting animals must be on a leash or contained at all times
- All Vehicle are to maintain a 'walking pace' speed within the property grounds.
- When leaving the property for days trips or at the end of your stay with us, please ensure all fires are fully extinguished.

Hazelnut Valley Farm is a really great Youcamp site. The property is beautiful and all campsites are very private and have access to the river. The owners are lovely and and their nut products are super tasty. We've booked our next stay there already. Highly recommended!

Fantastic long weekend at Chestnut Corner. Hours spent lazing by the river and under the Chestnut trees. Bernie, Lisa and Kurt are fantastic hosts, very helpful and accommodating. Their property is pretty special, as is their menagerie of animals. Loved it and cant wait to stay again. Thanks Guys!!

Lisa and Bernie great hosts. We had a group of 18. There was plenty of room for us. The river was small but perfect for younger kids and to sit your camp chair. Smaller canoes/blow up mattresses were suited to the river. We hired a toilet which was really handy. We will be back. Great spot.

The entire property is bordered by the beautiful, tranquil and tree lined Tyers River. It is absolutely gorgeous! We spent three days at the Harvey's Place site which has an excellent flat grass area for pitching a tent. Harvey's Place has two sites which are a comfortable distance apart.

Chestnut Corner is a large open grassy space. Along one side is a grove of hazelnut trees which stretch around 100 meters. On the opposite side is the tree lined Tyers river with our own swimming hole. Our van is near 2 century old chestnut trees near the bend of Tyers. A delightfully tranquil spot.
