B&B accommodation set amongst deep gorges and high mountain ranges with rugged rock formations and magnificent panoramas 'Catninga' is the perfect choice to give you a taste of the Flinders Ranges. If you are after camping please review our other listing for camping.

The homestead was built in the late 1800's when it was run as a merino sheep/wool producing property. It was later used for the film set of the Australian film 'The Kangaroo' 1952.

Today, Catninga is a small working cattle & horse property, bush camping and nature adventure wonderland. Enjoy our million star accommodation!

There are many walks & hikes at Catninga including the Peter Goode Gully walk which takes you onto the Heysen Trail and to the summit of Mt Brown. Other walks around the property are full of interesting encounters, like the many native fauna and flora to be seen and the abundant bush tucker if you know where to look. Information available.
