We offer two campsites right on the banks of the Dirk Brook. To get to the campsites there's a creek crossing & farm track.
Sheep & cattle graze the hill country & it's a stunning location. Red-tailed cockatoos flock to the gully feeding on redgum trees plus many other birds, the resident wedgetail eagles soar above making the most of the thermals created from the hills, also you'll see the local kangaroos if your lucky.
Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads at ALL times as this is a working cattle/sheep farm. You MUST bring your own camping toilet and leave no trace. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place and firewood is for sale by the bag.
ACCESS: check with us if you are not sure. There is a creek crossing. We recommend 4WD or SUV. A 17ft caravan will make it up the track with slow careful driving, we don’t recommend low clearance vehicles, although they will make it ok if taken slowly.
