My wife Angela and I run cattle on Wongalea. I was a shearer for 12 years and now run a part time computer business. Our 3 children have all grown up and left home, but are always hanging out to come home to "Wongalea"

This is our 2nd visit to Wongalea. Perfect hideaway to just relax or do some reading. For those inclined to go fishing, there's yella belly , Murray cod or carp to take your bait. We will continue to visit this beautiful part of Wongalea property. Thanks for sharing your property Lionel.

We enjoyed the "Wongalea" experience by kayaking down the river, fishing (which was fun but no fish were keepers). Lionel and Angela went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. The lower bank campsites would be recommended but plenty of area on the top side as well. Will be back again.

Macintyre Magic! This spot was perfect!! A majestic River, gorgeous Gums, Weeping Willows, Bottlebrush; Cockatoos, Galahs, Cattle and Goats :) There's even a toilet! and tables and chairs . . and even a canoe (don't know if it floats :) and fire bins available. The grass is cut, the country is real!

What an amazing place. From the moment we got there we knew we were going to enjoy ourselves. We camped at Turtle Dam. Perfect place to get away from the world. Amazing landscapes. Best weekend ever. Thanks Lionel and Angela for opening up your property. We will back again. Thank you.
