This place is truly magical and we want to share it with you. It was once an ancient place for indigenous women and children, while the men went out to hunt. It has a magical feel about it! Suitable for large groups, we can cater for your event too. Please talk to us about your needs. we offer amazing activities for people of all ages from bamboo flute making to woodworking in our workshop or drumming activities and guided walking tours to ancient trees

Wow, I have not slept so well in a long time :) Host: super friendly and interesting to talk to. Site: all green in the middle of the rain forest. Very peaceful. Amenities: BBQ / kitchen / toilets / tables / chairs are a big plus. We camped there 4 days with our 1.5 year old, all was great!

Gilles has a beautiful property, it is secluded and just what our group of 15 wanted for a weekend away from Sydney. The drop toilets and kitchen shelter were an added bonus to make things easier, and the wooden stage kept the kids entertained. It was a terrific camping spot to escape the crowds.

What a fantastic host! We had a lovely long weekend at the property and would visit again. The host was so welcoming to his home and I loved seeing the vegie garden. The amenities were very clean and everything was well planned and we enjoyed a very peaceful weekend.

We had a fantastic time at Over the Moon. Gilles was incredibly helpful and accommodating to our large group. The campsites are nestled in the woods away from one another so you can have your own peace and privacy. I also highly recommend the woodwork class - great opportunity to create a memento.

When arriving we didn't expect it to be so rustic. After spending the weekend there nothing we could fault. Water and toilet paper was provided and refrigeration which was unexpected. Gilles was very hospitable. Our boys loved the hammock and dance stage. We would definitely return.

Over the Moon offers total escapism in a bushland setting with the added warmth and hospitality of its unique host Gilles. There are several sites, all within shady clearings. Extra luxuries include fire pit, fridge and water. Our boys & dog loved roaming free, collecting veges & feeding animals.
