About the property
Description
Located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way.

Firewood is available for $10, only unpowered sites are available so bring your own generator if needed. Pets are allowed, as long as they are controlled and won't chase sheep.

It is suitable for all types of campers/caravans. You will experience peace and quiet as the campsite is 2km away from busy roads. Only one booking at a time per site so your privacy is guaranteed.

There's a basic "drop and listen" pit toilet located at the side of the shearing shed. :)

Hi we are Kadee and Hannah. This is our family farm and you are invited to enjoy our beautiful campsites at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. We ask that all campers are very respectful to our farm and leave no trace. Pets must be under strict control and not allowed to run free. We have just one basic drop toilet so you may wish to bring your own. We hope to see you here soon!

A beautiful place to stay. Magnificent views and friendly owners. Not far from Adelaide so if you need a short escape this is the place. We will certainly be back.

Fantastic setting amoungst gum trees. An epic amount of space between sites. Great walk up to the Peters Hill through the paddocks. Hosts are friendly and guided us in.

We enjoyed the space and privacy of the farm, camping in the gum tree paddock. There was a constantly moving mob of sheep that kept us entertained but never came too close. We made our way up to the Heysen Trail and hiked to Marschalls Hut. It's worth a visit. The family were friendly and welcoming.
