Just what we were looking for...Cranky Rock is a peaceful retreat. The property sits in a beautiful little valley with plenty of fire trials for bushwalking and a lovely creek if you feel like cooling off. The hosts Pam and Lindsay are lovely people and have set up a fantastic site. We'll be back!

Pam and Lindsay were wonderful hosts. Location was excellent and the unexpected luxury of a flushing toilet, fridge and shelter made this 4 day stay a real treat.

Good available bins. Toilet/fridge/shed area was clean tidy and rustic. Addition of a shower Lindsay mentioned, an advantage for longer stays. Fine hospitality, genuine friendliness also left to enjoy the piece/quiet. VG knowledge Lindsay about the land and local wineries, felt right at home thanx

Lindsay and Pam were very charming hosts. Lovely property and great extra faclities. Camp kitchen and flushing toilet a bonus. Not too far from Wollombi or Sydney for a lovely weekend visit. Thank you for your hospitality.

We were met by a very hostile reception party of a group that thought they had the campsite for their exclusive use. This obviously did not make for a relaxing stay as they continued to make our presence there feel unwanted. We left 1st thing the next morning

Spent one night at this beautiful location. We were welcomed by the very friendly hosts, Lindsay and Pam and we were very grateful to share their property. The serenity and tranquility was just what we needed.

Lovely spot with friendly hosts and flushing toilet and a fridge a bonus. Space to run around with the family worked well and a dip in the river a good breakout. Thanks Lindsay and Pam

We spent 3 lovely peaceful nights here with our small people ... very relaxing ... sounds of the bush... riding bikes... talking to the chickens and horses :) Pam and Lindsay were very helpful and accommodating ...Great to find a camp site with a toilet which makes it more accessible :)

Beautiful spot and wonderful hosts. Onsite fridge and power points made everything that little bit easier. Easy drive in to town to get essentials and had an amazing New Years fireworks display Would definitely come back.. thanks for having us!!

Great stay. The location is very secluded yet convenient! Pam and Lindsay were very friendly and great with the kids! There is limited running water and a very well kept outdoor toilet. The communal facilities looked clean and convenient but we didn't use them much. Thank you for having us!
