4WD VEHICLE ACCESS
Self contained 4WD vehicles, tents and campers are best on this YouCamp property. The 'Roadside Campsite' is suitable for tents only as there is very little level ground or you can park your 2WD in one of our parking spots and walk a short distance to your selcted campsite. Please contact us prior to booking to discuss your options.
We ask that you seek permission from hosts prior to lighting ANY fires, especially in FIRE SEASON (15th December to 15th April). Campfires in cooler months to be held in designated fire pit areas.
Firewater/backpack is provided and must be on hand at all times at all sites regardless of whether campfires are intended.
LEAVE ONLY FOOTPRINTS
We expect all campers to be respectful of our beautiful property and to remove everything they bring onto the site when they leave.
Rubbish bins are located throughout the property for waste and recyclables.
Basic toilet facilities can be found in Shed behind homestead but all guests are to be self sufficent and expected to bring Port-a-loo facilities. The nearest Dumpsite is currently located at Strathalbyn.
DOGS WELCOME ON LEAD
Dogs to be on lead at all times, except when in DOG RUN near main house. Pets are not to be left unattended. Pet minding is available.
No excessive drinking of alcohol - you will be asked to leave.
Fire wood is available for guests to collect around most sites themselves, but if you'd like some cut and delivered to your campsite, we can arrange this for a donation. Please book as an extra.
No firearms to be bought onto property under any circumstances. The property has feral deer, kangaroos and other game wandering through at times but is unsuitable for hunting. Enjoy the sight of deer or kangaroos, especially in the 'Back Paddock' site in the early morning, but do not harm wildlife please.
PROPERTY 'NO GO' ZONES
Please keep to clearly designated racks and trails. DO NOT drive vehicles overland/off track or take short cuts to and from your campsite as the terrain is unpredictable and large rocks and steep slopes are not conducive to safe and damage free motoring.
Please plan your arrivals well before sunset to allow time to meet hosts and be shown to your campsite. Access to 'Back Paddock Campsite' is not advised after dark.
